Yes, there are spacers that can be used with the Timbren # TGMRTTK30 kit on your 1987 GMC Pickup with a 2-1/2" lift. We recommend using two of the 1" spacers # TA25723-90AD00 on each side. The idea is to have a 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between the bottom of the spring and the contact point. The Timbren # TGMRTTK30 is 7-1/8" tall overall so adding 2" of spacers should leave about a 7/8" gap which will be perfect.

We do offer the Brophy Camper Hold Downs, part # HSSF, that will work with your 1997 GMC 1500. They are not stake pocket tie downs, but they wrap around the bed rails and are mounted inside the bed.
